August 2023 Advocacy Update: Creative Circle CDC

First Picture- Paper folding or origami could improve the attention span of children with autism. The use of origami as an intervention significantly improved the attention of kids with ASD. Lucas finds it to be a fun-filled activity! He can follow given simple and advanced instructions. Advanced instructions can help him develop the ability to think and find solutions, as well as improve diligence and accuracy.

Second Picture- Stan enjoys sorting and classifying bugs while practicing his pincer grasp and fine motor skills. He is so focused! He can now do this activity with one hand only and can sort correctly without help. Good job, Stan!
